Corneliani S/S 2020 Collection
"Once Upon a Time in Hollywood," the ninth film effort by Quentin Tarantino, set in the midst of the explosion of the hippy movement in America. The social and political instability of today, the new ecological and cultural battles. A ferment born of the dissatisfaction that characterized the Seventies and that returns today with new energy.

A Seventies spirit, free from any nostalgic and vintage vein, inspires the Corneliani collection for the Spring / Summer 2020 season. It looks at the archive, rediscovering a hyper-sophisticated taste , which is however projected into the contemporary through fabrics and cutting -edge processes. It is an impeccable, masculine, refined yet spontaneous and comfortable.
A stylistic emblem of the rebellion of the seventies, the military eskimo returns with more oversized volumes , emptied of construction and materials, for a sense of incredible lightness. Reflective details introduce an avant-garde and urban feel, while celebrating the concept of versatility the reversible bomber jacket in plongé nappa that reveals a varsity jacket from the college mood.

A compact poplin made of silk and cotton is the fabric of choice for ultra-light suits with high-performance finishes and deconstructed cuts. Trousers have elasticated waist for a more casual mood, or reveal a more elegant attitude. A tribute to the eighties, the Vogue dress speaks of an assertive elegance with the jacket with a chest and a half to be worn open and wide-legged trousers.
Inside pockets, zips and reflective details characterize the techno-blazers made of high-performance anti-drop, anti-crease and tear-resistant fabrics, while an explosion of lines defines knitwear. In relief, jacquards, printed, give a graphic spirit to linen, cotton and silk garments, which reveal intriguing degradé effects.

An expression of the more casual Corneliani spirit, the “Style & Freedom” capsule is enriched with hybrid garments, such as windbreaker sweatshirts and stretch suede fleece jackets, decorated with graphics and color blocking that recall a varsity taste.
The sense of lightness and softness that pervades the entire collection also guides Corneliani's search for footwear, where the brand introduces a series of more casual or more formal models, all made from leathers such as deer and calfskin, with flexible uppers and ultra light funds.
