The velvet jacket is a timeless choice for tailored evening-wear, and this one is as sophisticated as can be; cut with trim notched lapels for an understated look in the best deep-pile Italian cotton velvet. Wear it as seen here, with a classic white dress shirt, evening trousers and one of our new season silk evening scarves. Note also that its made with half-canvas construction for a superior fit and finish.

This sophisticated midnight blue evening jacket is cut in a style that's true to the tuxedo, but with a few subtle differences. It’s ribbed wool cloth adds some subtle texture, as do the silk faced lapels, which are woven in a fine jacquard, depicting air bubbles floating up from the ocean’s depths. An understated luxury, this piece is half-canvassed and tailored to last with jetted pockets and a single button to fasten.

The satin faced peaked lapels, buttons and bound pockets, as well as the satin trim on the trousers are all technically correct features. The rich navy cloth with its mohair content lends the suit a superior sheen.
