Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia went to India, Como, Italy, Marrakech and Croatia. Upon their returns, they compiled various ideas from their sojourns into a baseline of notice-me ease. There were plenty of oversize Ikat prints, sunny shades of yellow and delicate fringe on everything from statement earrings and shoe ties to evening gowns and breezy caftans.
There were striped kaftans, white tunics on loose colored pants and of course, the brand’s moniker fit and flare dresses. The pieces were so fresh and summer-ish that one could already dwell over the sweet memories of the hot season.
The skirtsuits and fit-and-flare dresses joined a relaxed new approach to evening that includes strapless bustier “going out” tops and tailored pants.
