The Playforever Collection

In celebration of the busy festive season, BOSS has teamed up with luxury model-maker Playforever to create an exclusive new toy car and a collection for high-impact style. BOSS knows the holidays can speed towards us with gifts to buy and parties to attend.

This year, they revel in this fast pace with a little help from Playforever’s sleek car designs, making sure you are ready for anything, whether you are on the hunt for the perfect gift or an impeccable look. Inspired by BOSS’s close connection with motorsport, this partnership with Playforever brings together a shared focus on exceptional craftsmanship and sleek, dynamic design.

Talking about the project, Playforever founder Julian Meagher explains, “We have been waiting a long time for the right collaboration opportunity to come along, and this was most certainly it. BOSS has a very clean aesthetic and Playforever has something similar going on. It was great to receive a call from BOSS artistic director Jason Wu to explain what was needed from us. Cameron Treeby, who is co-owner, and I couldn’t wait to get started. This year has been full of surprises and seeing our cars forming part of a fashion collection has to be the highlight.”

Julian Meagher elaborates on how this exclusive design came into being. “When I was shaping the BOSS car body, I had the idea of doing a diamond shape nose, which felt right for BOSS. To make it stand out even more, I screen-printed the solid shape. It always astonishes me how powerful printed graphics can be on such simple shapes.”

Taken from from the Playforever models, the car motif is at the centre of many of the collection's styles. Fused with BOSS eveningwear, this car adopts a range of forms, whether patterned on a women’s silk blouse or as an embroidered graphic on the front of a sweater.

A bomber jacket with the car emblazoned across the back takes the collection in a sportier direction, while a women's oversize mohair sweater with a central intarsia motif adds a touch of high-octane glamour to wrapping up this winter. The playful motoring design continues through the accessories, featuring on purses, scarves and key charms.

Now available online and in store, sharp new styles from the Playforever collection are waiting for you to shop, whether you’re looking for a gift for a loved one, or a sure way to arrive at a special event in style.
