Christmas Inspiration

A Christmas tree is a decorated tree, usually an evergreen conifer such as spruce, pine, or fir or an artificial tree of similar appearance, associated with the celebration of Christmas. The modern Christmas tree was developed in Germany and it was traditionally decorated with roses made of colored paper, apples, wafers, tinsel and sweetmeats.

In the 18th century, it began to be illuminated by candles which were ultimately replaced by Christmas lights after the advent of electrification. Today, there is a wide variety of traditional ornaments, such as garlands, baubles, tinsel, and candy canes. An angel or star might be placed at the top of the tree to represent the archangel Gabriel or the Star of Bethlehem from the Nativity.

WINTER PALACE

An old Russian folktale inspires this collection, where, in the midst of the fir forests and snow-capped mountains, a beautiful Winter Palace glitters as facets of ice catch the starlight from above. With presents all wrapped and waiting beneath the tree, anticipation builds in the hope of catching a glimpse of Father Frost on his horse-drawn sleigh...

The magic of Winter Palace is captured in boutique glamour. Feathered peacock clips, sparkling diamante baubles and metallic starburst decorations provide a refined, opulent look throughout, with touches of tradition re-imagined in the form of silver leaf sprays and charming little Babushka baubles.

FOLKLORE

In the central square of a quaint town, a Christmas tree glitters with a welcoming glow. As the bells ring out to announce the season, people rush along the cobbled streets to gather in celebration. Carols fill the air to tell you with no uncertainty that this is Christmas, and this is Folklore.

Folklore celebrates colour and pattern, with cosy textiles, traditional hand-painted ceramics and bold embroidery. Think traditional knitted jumpers, frosted berry wreaths and festive cottage tree hangers to bring your own Christmas story to life.

Something magical is happening in the depths of a leafy forest. A crack has appeared in the trunk of the oldest, tallest oak tree in the woods, and glittering lights are bouncing around from within. It’s a fairytale Christmas, and you’re invited to step inside

Into the Woods is truly spell-binding. Drawing on inspiration from the forest, the theme is decorated with an abundance of beautiful faux greenery and embellished woodland creatures. The colour palette explores the versatility of green, from rich jewel tones to more earthy variations. Purple provides complementary accents of contrasting colour, and ranges from deep amethyst to delicate nearly pink flutters.
