Santa’s elves are also planning some fun activities too. As part of your festivities, make sure you book this year's fun-filled pantomime, The Magic Shoes , brought to New Lanark by the Arkeen Theatre Company.


Based on the classic Hans Christian Andersen fairytale, The Red Shoes, children and adults alike will love this fun tale featuring Jack, Rose, Rose's mum and the sneaky Shoemaker.

Meanwhile, The Mill Hotel has all your catering needs wrapped up with Festive lunches and dinners served throughout December. Book your Christmas party nights with fabulous food and great entertainment or come along to Carols by Candlelight, an enchanting evening with Strathaven Choral Society. The team will be serving Festive Afternoon Tea with entertainment throughout the festive season aswell as a traditional Christmas Day lunch, including a visit from Santa followed by Boxing Day celebrations. You can also bring in the bells at New Year at New Lanark’s amazing Hogmanay Gala Dinner.
