Oliver Spencer Menswear
From early beginnings as a self-taught tailor and shopkeeper, Oliver Spencer has built a brand around his vision: hand-crafted quality paired with stylish accents and details. Frustrated by the limitations of art school and impatient to strike out alone, Oliver Spencer abandoned student hood in favour of a stall at Portobello Market.

And working that market stall ingrained Oli's enduring love of garment and cloth — shop and shop keeping. Oliver Spencer the brand was founded in 2002. Having spent the previous decade creating and expanding formalwear brand Favor brook, Oli wanted to create something new: a range of clothing with all the quality and craft of premium tailoring, but with a relaxed modern style.
The philosophy? Quality needn't mean formality; casual needn't mean careless. That philosophy found plenty of adherents. And from a single shop on London's Lambs Conduit Street, Oliver Spencer has gone on to open four more shops, and an international online business — as well as being stocked in many of the world's leading department stores, from Selfridges to Liberty of London to Mr. Porter.
Here you will find the more formal side of the Oliver Spencer range, designed to project smart style, but still featuring the trademark Oliver Spencer eye for detail and emphasis on wear ability. Many of these pieces can comfortably be dressed down and worn as separates.
Portland Jacket Kildale Indigo Rinse : It can either be worn as part of a suit or as a separate. This three button jacket features a small peak lapel and flap pockets. The fabric Oli's picked out for this version of the jacket is their Kildale Indigo Rinse cotton, developed for a luxuriously soft finish, and also for its malleability.

Slim Fit Jean Black Denim Rinse: It doesn't get much more classic than a pair of black slim fit jeans. One of the most versatile pieces in your wardrobe, these jeans will form the basis of a variety of outfits from smart to casual.

Grandad Shirt Kildale Indigo Light: One of the shirts with which Oliver Spencer first made his name, the Grandad Shirt is named for its minimal collar band. Like all their shirts, it's cut to allow you to wear it either untucked or tucked in, and features short grandad cuffs and a fit which is slim without being skinny.
