Created in 2006 and launched in Rome, A Diciannoveventitre is a footwear brand that specialises in luxe but functional designs that have a high fashion edge. The shoes are made in Italy and have all the hallmarks of that origin, from high quality materials through to exceptionally detailed design and impeccable craftsmanship. Tradition and innovation are balanced by an eye for the classics and a constant search for new fabrics and processes. A Diciannoveventitre brings a contemporary vision to artisanal leather craftsmanship. Sumptuous leather and buttery suede in an array of intense hues define this Farfetch collection for men. Relaxed pieces are given a refined restyling while sleek designs are amped up with distressed effects and metallic accents. The man behind the brand is artist Simone Cecchetto and in my opinion he is the greatest shoemaker today. He’s also an original member of Carpe Diem, the studio created by Maurizio Altieri devoted to old world craftsmanship and experimental treatments with leather.
